About Me

I’m Piers Ward

I am an experienced guitar player with a passion for music and teaching musicians of all ages. I live in Malmesbury, Wiltshire with my wife and two children. Over the past several years I have organised and been included in a number of live performances and recording projects, playing with original, cover and tribute bands across the UK. I think that the guitar is one of the most expressive and fun instruments to play and I would encourage anyone to start learning or improve their skill.

My Skills

I’ve been playing the guitar for over 15 years and enjoy playing lots of different styles and genres including rock, metal, jazz and soul. My teaching style is very adaptable and is designed to encourage students to play how they want to play and achieve their goals.
During my career as a guitarist, I have spent a lot of time learning how to service, setup and maintain my guitars, amplifiers and accessories. I think that it is really important that students learn these skills so they can keep their gear sounding its best.
